Colts at Titans

LenDale White, RB, Titans: White has something in common with the Colts defense: They’re both soft around the middle. White also found the end zone on Sunday.

Duds:
Chris Brown, RB, Titans:
Follows up his 175 yard performance in Week 1 withÉ34 yards against a bad run defense.

Bengals at Browns

Studs:
Derek Anderson, QB, Browns:
Thank God the coin toss didn’t yield Ken Dorsey. Anderson went off for 5 TD’s and staved off the Brady Quinn era for one more week .

Jamal Lewis, RB, Browns: Just when fantasy owners were ready to stick a fork in Jamal Lewis (figuratively) and declare him done, he goes for 215 and a score. Time to sell high on Jamal, as this is the exception rather than the norm.

Carson Palmer, QB, Bengals: Went for 6 scores in a shootout withÉthe Browns?

Chad Johnson, WR, Bengals: Ocho Cinco topped the 200 yard mark and found the end zone twice, in a game that was eerily reminiscent of Louisville vs. Middle Tennessee State a couple of weeks ago.

Duds:
Fantasy Owners:
For not starting any of your Browns this week.

Falcons at Jags

Studs:
David Garrard, QB, Jaguars:
Really, it was hard to find one anywhere in this game. More disturbing is that Dennis Northcutt led the Jags in receiving. If you haven’t already bid farewell to Matt Jones, do so asap.

Duds:
Jags Backs:
Again, they split the carries, and again, neither guy did anything. Steer clear of this situation.

Texans at Panthers

Studs:
Andre Johnson, WR, Texans:
The focal point of a pass-centric offense that is improving with Matt Schaub. He had over 100 yards and 2 more TD’s.

Steve Smith, WR, Panthers: The Panthers can’t run the ball (see below) but Smith just keeps producing with an outstanding 3 TD day.

Duds:
Panthers RBs:
Those who grabbed DeAngelo Williams (or DeShaun Foster) looking for fireworks have been sorely disappointed. This has been a job share, and a bad one at that.

Packers at Giants

Studs:
Brett Favre, QB, Packers:
And there’s nobody happier about his three touchdown performance than Aaron Rodgers. Okay, not really.

DeShawn Wynn, RB, Packers: He’ll be a hot waiver wire pickup in your league this week, as he scored twice and seems to be the goal-line back and most effective runner in Green Bay.

Duds:
Reuben Droughns, RB, Giants:
If you drafted him as your Brandon Jacobs handcuff run, don’t walk, to the waiver wire to pick up Derrick Ward.

Bills at Steelers

Studs:
Willie Parker, RB, Steelers:
It wasn’t flashy, but fast Willie went over 100 yards for the Steelers.

Duds:
JP Losman, QB, Bills:
Note to JP LosmanÉat least get Lee Evans the football. This offense looks terribleÉstay away from all of it.

Saints at Bucs

Studs:
Joey Galloway, WR, Bucs:
The ageless one continues to beÉageless. A two touchdown day and over 100 yards for Galloway, who played at Ohio State with Archie Griffin.

Jeff Garcia, QB, Bucs: Speaking of agelessÉ

Duds:
Reggie Bush, RB, Saints:
Suddenly the Texans don’t look so crazy. Can anyone say Cadillac Williams, circa 2006? Oh, and Bush fumbled twice on Sunday.

49ers at Rams

Studs:
Frank Gore, RB, 49ers: Found the end zone twice in a low-scoring affair.

Duds:
Steven Jackson, RB, Rams:
Another less-than-scintillating performance by a top-5 fantasy back. Time to buy low?

Cowboys at Dolphins

Studs:
Marion Barber, RB, Cowboys:
Those still waiting for Julius Jones to develop have waited about a year too long. Barber will be scoring the TD’s for Dallas this season, and he found the stripe twice this week.

Duds:
Ronnie Brown, RB, Dolphins:
Fantasy owners relying on Brown for feature-back production need to look elsewhere, as Brown has shown no signs of life this year.

Vikings at Lions

Studs:
Roy Williams, WR, Lions:
Oh yeah, the Lions “other” receiver is still pretty good. He found the end zone today and led the club in receptions.

Duds:
Nearly Everyone Else in This Game:
The Lions leading rusher had 9 yardsÉAdrian Peterson was underwhelming, and Tarvaris Jackson was downright awful, tossing 3 picks.

Seahawks at Cardinals

Studs:
Matt Leinart, QB, Cardinals:
Scared his owners with a subpar performance last week, but looked comfortable and competent vs. Seattle. A great keeper prospect.

Raiders at Broncos

Studs:

Lamont Jordan, RB, Raiders: Jordan topped the 100 yard mark, showing the form that made him a top 10 fantasy pickÉlast year.

Duds:
Josh McCown, QB, Raiders:
73 yards, 3 picks. Let’s hope JaMarcus Russell has been working out.

Chiefs at Bears

Studs:
Devin Hester, WR, Bears:
Hester had a 73 yard PR for a TD, and is worth a start in deep leagues as your last receiver. He’s also a great interview.

Duds:
Larry Johnson, RB, Chiefs:
He appears to be in for a long season of opponents stacking 8 men in the box to stop him, provided the Chiefs can’t find a passing game. Oh well, there’s always hip hop.

Jets at Ravens

Studs:
Kyle Boller, QB, Ravens:
In relief of Steve McNair, the rocket armed Boller comes in and delivers a solid multiple TD game against a decent defense, leading the Ravens to victory. Keep an eye on this situation. Billick could have given up on Boller at any time, and I think there’s a reason he hasn’t.

Duds:
Mark Clayton, WR, Ravens:
After a promising year last year in which he seemed to take over #1 receiver status, he has struggled thus far. His stat line this week: 1 catch, -1 yard.

Chargers at Patriots

Studs:
Randy Moss, WR, Patriots:
He was probably a relative bargain in your draft, and his owners are reaping the dividends. Moss had another huge day.

Duds:
LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, Chargers:
Marty Schottenheimer hates to say ‘I told you so.’ Actually he doesn’t. Another week, another subpar rushing total for LT. Give him another couple of weeks with Norv, and then get worried.

Bill Belichick, Patriots: For blurring the lines even further between ‘genius’ and ‘cheater’ (see also: Barry Bonds, Lance Armstrong). In related news, he did receive a Best Director nomination in the ‘Sports Documentary’ category.

Redskins at Eagles

Studs:
Brian Westbrook, RB, Eagles:
If you haven’t realized it already, he’s the only fantasy player worth having on this offense, as he racked up 156 total yards to go with 8 catches. The Eagles have nothing at WR, and it will be interesting to see who Donovan McNabb throws under the bus this week.

Duds:
Reggie Brown, WR, Eagles:
2 catches, 27 yards. You would be better off with the 3rd receiver on some teams (Wes Welker, Mike Furrey) than the #1 receiver on this team.
